    Role: Co-art direction, layout + design.
    Notes: Single pocket gatefold jacket with gloss varnish. Released by Outlaw Recordings in December 2004 in a hand-numbered edition of 500 copies.

  • The Goslings 'Grandeur of Hair' // CD

    Role: Co-art direction, layout + design.
    Notes: Cover is screen-printed by Alan Sherry of Siwa Records on a heavy weight, black, french paper stock. Black ink on the CD had a spot matte varnish making the pink "pop out". Text in the sample is shown in white for ease of viewing. Actual text on the CD is black, sans matte varnish. Final size is 15x6 inches and comes packed in a Mylar sleeve. Released by Archive Records in June of 2006 in an edition of 1000 copies.

  • Jack Rose '[Untitled]' // LP

    Role: Layout + design.
    Notes: Released in an edition of 1000 copies. Front and back cover are coated in a matte UV varnish while the text on the back cover is a gloss UV varnish. Cover is Stoughton heavyweight, '70's 'tip-on' style and the vinyl is 180gm weight. Japanese style OBI's were offset printed using an HP Indigo Press. Released by Tequila Sunrise Records in May 2007.

    Role: Layout + design.
    Notes: Released in an edition of 1000 copies. Cover is Stoughton heavyweight, '70's 'tip-on' style and the vinyl is 180gm weight. Japanese style OBI's were offset printed using an HP Indigo Press. Released by Tequila Sunrise Records in April 2007.

  • Kousokuya 'Echoes From Deep Underground'
    // CD + DVD

    Role: Co-art direction, layout + design.
    Notes: Cover is hand-screened by Alan Sherry of Siwa Records on a heavy weight, black, french paper stock. Using only metallic silver ink, a high-gloss varnish was used as a contrasting ink for Kanji and other text. CD faces are matte black and text/Kanji is a gloss black. The CDs are packaged in black envelopes and held together by an OBI strip. The entire package is housed in a mylar sleeve and is limited to 700 copies.

  • Jack Rose 'Dr. Ragtime and His Pals' // LP

    Role: Layout + design.
    Notes: Released in an edition of 960 copies. Front and back cover text is gloss UV varnish. Record is housed in a European manufactured hard board inner-sleeve slipped inside a matte board jacket. Japanese style OBI's were offset printed using an HP Indigo Press. Released by Tequila Sunrise Records in November 2008.

  • Narita Munehiro 'Ether: Solo Electric Guitar Works' // CD

    Role: Layout + design.
    Notes: Japanese translations by Alan Cummings. CD face was offest printed to provide more vibrant color and richer text detail. The entire cover was spot varnished in a high gloss. The entire package is housed in a mylar sleeve and final size is 15x6 inches. Released by Archive Records in August 2006.

    Notes: The goal of the design was a minimalist approach of graphics and color thereby giving greater importance and impact to the text within.

    Notes: Up and coming wiki/showcase web site, The Collection Space, had contacted me about creating a clean, neutral, grid based look and feel for the site's redesign. The site, while functional, is still currently in development with the new look and feel.

  • STAR Logo

    Role: Co-art direction, design.
    Notes: Created for the Spirent Communications 2008 STAR sales meeting. Logo was used on signage systems, invitations, menus, large format graphics and apparel.

  • Simon Logo

    Role: Design.
    Notes: Logo created for a new Spirent Communications software which does complex mathematical and analytical network testing delivering end results to the user. The logo type is used for product designation but the robot, Simon, is used individually in the GUI. When the eyes are green, the app has delivered results or is at rest. The zig-zagged eyes signify the app is working.

    Notes: Test Automation Alliance logo for Spirent Communications. Logo is based upon the test automation continuum.

  • Draxon Publications Logo

    Role: Illustration, design.
    Notes: Created for photographer and author, Fred Hammer, for his newly developed publishing company. Logo was drawn by hand then scanned and digitized.

  • Cancer Can Suck It // Shirt // Multiple color-ways

    Notes: This shirt was done in cooperation with musician Sean McGrath, who performed in the bands Saves The Day, Hands Tied and Mouthpiece, as a way to express his opinion with his battle of cancer and doubling as a means to raise money for cancer research charities. The idea was based on a design used by the NY hardcore band Judge and the imagery couldn't have been more fitting given the message. I altered a few things from the original design and added the Japanese characters for "Courage".

    Sadly, Sean passed away on June 11, 2004, but will always remain in my thoughts as a true friend and fellow musician.

  • Spirent STAR // Shirt // Black shirt w/ five spot color + white inks

    Role: Art direction, layout + design.
    Notes: Created for the Spirent Communications STAR sales conference in 2008. Of the five spot inks, a metallic silver is used for the globe, star interiors and the 08 text. The globe wraps slightly underneath the left sleeve area.
